The New Things In Life

Well, the Bovee family has a blog and would like to keep all of our friends and family up to date on what is going on in our lives. For this first one, we will mention how everyone is doing from youngest to oldest.

The youngest, Josiah, just turned 3 in September and is all boy as we have said since the day he was born. He loves wrestling with his Papa, going fishing, pretending to buck deer hunt (because he is the buck deer boy), and anything that has to do with balls, he is all over it (especially hoopy balls). He's a joy, but very trying for the mom as I'm used to girly things. :)
Diella is next. She will be turning 5 in November. She lives up to the meaning of her name, "worshiper of Yahweh". She wakes up singing and in the middle of the day will break out in song of one that I wouldn't have even known that she knew. What a blessing to hear her sing. It makes our faces and hearts smile. She is doing preschool work at home and will start Kindergarten next year. She loves macaroni and cheese, animals, and really soft blankets. I think she'll be wanting to snuggle still at 18 but that's okay. :)

Then comes, Alegra. She is 6, will turn 7 in January. Wow, where does the time go? She is doing first grade at home. Some days are a challenge, but we sure love having her home and teaching her all that she needs to know, not only educationally but also in Godliness. She is becoming quite the young lady, whose eyes sparkle and whose hair has finally grown back after her major wacking 2 years ago. :) She loves animals, writing, coloring (any crafts really), and pretending any kind of play. As she gets older, she is beginning to make good choices and those bring us such joy. Especially when she asks questions concerning the Bible and wanting to learn more about it.
The Papa is next. He is.....how old are you honey? Oh, yes, he will be turning 33 December 31st. He is such an active part of the children's lives. I absolutely love that the children have always preferred being with him over me. I think that's a good reflection of the man he has become. For work, Jonathon recently has had some changes. He is still sharing the MonaVie product with others, but has also taken on an outside sales position for Superior Lamp. He is so good at helping others and encouraging others in areas that are a struggle for them. At church he helps out with the sound system, occasionally does special music, always volunteers to help others that are in need, and is a great minister of scriptures to those in need of that. The past 3 years have truly brought on major changes in who he is. He is a husband who strives to provide financially and spiritually for his family. He is a dad who constantly shares fun and scriptural teachings with his children. And he is a man whose heart's desire is to grow in God's goodness and learn all he can about who God wants him to be. He is not only learning this but practicing this and becoming a wonderful spiritual leader in our home. I praise Yahweh for my husband!

And....oops, I guess I'm not the oldest. How did I do that? Well, the biggest news for our family is with me, so I suppose it was more fitting that I saved myself for last. So, what is the big news you are wondering........yep, we are expecting baby blessing number 4! We truly know that this is from the Lord and when He wanted it to happen. We are excited, though I will admit that the thoughts are there as to what we are going to do with all the children in our little house. I guess live closely and love much. :) I'm feeling pretty good so far. I'm tired and want to eat all the time, but can manage as long as I eat and sleep. It's a blessing as there have been so many wonderful ladies at our church that have just had babies or are also expecting. The Lord has blessed us with great friends that we can share such special times with. I also just started an etsy shop. You can check it out at http://www.willowshademixes.etsy.com/. Let's see, what else for me.....I'm a school teacher, a custodian, a chef, and many other numerous things, but one thing that particularly sticks out to me is that I believe I have found something that the Lord has gifted me in. I plan Celebrations for the ladies at church that are pregnant. It's not a baby shower, but a time for the women to get together, bless the mom-to-be with scriptures, wash her feet, give her advice or encouragment, and just fellowship with each other during this special time. We celebrate the blessing that God has given. I want to include some pictures from those Celebrations, but I might dedicate a blog just to that. I have another one coming up in a couple of weeks, so maybe I will wait til after that one, that way if anybody else out there wants to do something like it for a close lady friend in their life, you can get lots of tips.

So, there you have it. The Bovee Family Life wrapped up in one blog entry. Want more? Check back frequently as we will post more pictures of our cute little ones, maybe some growing belly pictures of me (I can't believe it's happening again), maybe some field trip pics, camping trip coming up in celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles so definitely we'll have to post some from that, and just life in general posts. Hope you will all come back to join us in what our lives are and are becoming.

We are amazed that He brought two people together and created a beautiful family out of us. How big will this Jonathon Bovee Family get? Only Yahweh knows. We know only one day at a time.

Psalm 34:1-3

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.

Yeah! Thanks for such a great blog post. And congrats! #4! I can't imagine what I would do with 3, let alone 4. But, God has blessed you as being a wonderful mother. He will continue to give you what you need with 4 children. I love the etsy site, too! Expect some orders from me!
