Being wise with our money

I have been doing some couponing lately and saving our family a lot of money. The better deals are getting free toilet paper, shampoo, deoderant, various foods, and even ice cream (that's my personal favorite). Most of the stuff that comes in the paper, as far as coupons, aren't exactly the most natural of choices, but I just found a site that gives you a list of websites where you can get coupons for natural and organic foods. I haven't tried any of them yet, but am anxious to.

If you are a beginner at couponing and want to learn the basics go to this blog for great beginner information. She has helpful posts on couponing and stays up to date on store ads and what you can save money on. http://dailyessentialsanddeals.blogspot.com/search/label/%22Couponing%22 Make sure you read part 1 and 2.

She also has some links on her blog for saving at Walgreens and CVS. It's amazing what these stores offer but the research into it takes a little effort and some practice.

Some of the other blogs she lists also have up to date postings of great places to get coupons, great deals, even giveaways. So check them out! Money Saving Mom is one of the better blogs, so be sure to read it if you are interested in this topic.

The website for the natural and organic coupons is http://mommysnacks.blogspot.com/2009/01/snack-time-organic-and-natural-products.html . That's all I've got on it. If you have any questions, let me know. I'm happy to share information, though I'm not a professional in it. And if anybody knows how to post a link without having the whole website in my blog (like liking it to a word) that would be helpful to know. I'm not a computer genius and Jonathon isn't here, so I'm left to the world of not knowing.

Hope this helps anybody!

Type in the word you want to have linked, highlight it, then hit the "link" icon above (looks like a chainlink). Then type in the address. You've got it (or copy and paste the link from a different window/tab you have open). Make sure when you make a post you hit the "edit html" tab at the top.
